The winners, both from Auckland, were thrilled to be Bullseye’s first-ever winners, and had plans for their Second Division prizes already.
“We’ve had lousy curtains in our house for over a decade now, and I’m sick of looking at them, so that’s the first thing I’m going to do,” says one of the winners, who bought their ticket from Paper Plus Meadowbank.
“I bought my ticket because the girls in the shop were wearing t-shirts that said “Ask me how to play Bullseye”, so I did – and the rest is history!”
The other winner, a MyLotto customer who was unaware he’d won when we contacted him with the good news, was in shock, and was looking forward to celebrating with a nice glass of wine with dinner later – or maybe earlier to help him recover!
The jackpot number was 033708, and the winners won the Second Division prize by having a number within five numbers either side of the Bullseye winning number.
“It’s been so exciting launching Bullseye as a world first for Kiwis. The interest this past week has been great, with people liking the chance to win $100,000 plus for only $2,” says Mr McLeay.
Bullseye has now jackpotted, with First Division worth $105,000 for today’s draw.
Bullseye is drawn daily at 6pm, with results available after 7pm online at www.mylotto.co.nz or from Lotto stores nationwide.
