Keno is the easy numbers game played twice a day, every day.
The Keno draw is held twice a day, at 1.01pm and 6.01pm. A random number generator picks 20 numbers between 1 and 80. Unlike Lotto, the draws are not held in a studio, but are instead run at our Auckland office. Screens are provided by the entrance to the NZ Lotteries building at 117 Khyber Pass Road, Auckland, showing the draw live.
As with Lotto, all Keno draws are scrutineered by Audit New Zealand who certify the results. The results are available at around 1.10pm and 6.10pm each day, and are broadcast on TV2 daily at approximately 1.45pm and 6.45pm.
