The Lotto Family games Lotto, Strike, and Powerball make dreams come true every week for Kiwis all around the country, but every now and then it gets even more exciting when we launch one of our fantastic promotions.

 

In 2010, we’ll be bringing back the popular promotions of 2009, and introducing some new ones that we think will be just as successful. So keep an eye on our website and in retail stores for upcoming promotions – and be in with a chance to win even more than Lotto.

Aug - Sept 2010 – Father's Day Promotion

This Father's Day, ten lucky winners around the country had the enviable task of choosing between either a Ford Performance Vehicle or a Holden Special Vehicle. The two week promotion started with a bang, kept up a wicked pace throughout, and ten Triple Dip players were big winners on the last lap!

 

May 2010 – Mother’s Day Promotion

Lotto’s Mother’s Day promotion virtually sells itself each year, so we figured why fix what’s working great, and kept it the same as last year. Up for grabs were ten awesome cars, so ten lucky Lotto Triple Dip players had the fun choice of picking the Mustang or the Mercedes – or if they found it too hard pick which car they preferred, the winners could opt for a cash prize of $120,000. Making the promotion even more special, our retailers offered gift packs to suit all tastes, budgets and mums, with specially designed envelopes – and once again, it was huge success.

 

March - April 2010– 100 Giant Nest Eggs For Easter

100 cash prizes were up for grabs making the Easter promotion as popular as ever. With one prize of $500,000, three of $100,000, six of $50,000, and 90 of $10,000, it's no wonder Lotto Triple Dips were flying out the door around the country.

 

January 2010 – Endless Summer

With the promise of an endless summer thanks to ten prizes of $150,000, the 2010 Summer Promotion was a huge success. Each Triple Dip purchased during the two week promotional period went into the draw to win one of the $150,000 prizes – and the chance to extend the winner’s holiday that little big longer.

 

December 2009 – Holiday 200 Promotion

Lotto’s Holiday 200 promotion had over $5 million worth of extra prizes up for grabs – on top the already exciting Lotto and Strike offerings. With two cash prizes of $1 million, two $500,000 cash prizes towards a bach, three His and Her car packages, three car and boat packages, 40 travel escapes and 150 extra cash prizes of $5,000, there was something for everyone! And, everyone who a bought a Triple Dip from 13 December to 02 January went in to the draw to win one of these great prizes.

 

November 2009 – Wish List Promotion

What’s on your Wish List? Lotto’s Wish List promotion got people thinking about what they would do if they won the chance to fulfil some of their dreams. Twenty people won a massive $250,000 cash toward their very own wish list! With $5million in extra prizes it was one of the biggest Lotto promotions in 2009.

 

September 2009 – Boy’s Toys for Father’s Day

Ten Holden SS V supercars and ten Harley-Davidson FLSTF Fatboy motorcycles were up for grabs in Lotto’s recent Father’s Day promotion, so a Triple Dip gift for Dad made Father’s Day gift-buying easy! The extra ‘boys toys’ prizes boasted fantastic features and Dads loved them.

 

July 2009– Hot 100 Promotion

Lotto's Hot 100 kicked-off in July, heating up winter with some very cool prizes. With 100 prizes of cash, cars, cash towards travel and shopping sprees on offer, there was something for everyone - and everyone wanted something.

 

May 2009 – Mother’s Day Promotion

This promotion made a lot of mother’s days – and lots of other people’s days too! This promotion had not one, but two amazing cars up for grabs – and the choice was yours… but how do you choose between a Mustang Coupe GT or a Mercedes Benz SLK350? For those who couldn’t choose there was a cash prize offer of $120,000 instead.

September 2008 – Father’s Day

Twenty stunning boy’s toys were won in our Father’s Day promotion. Twenty lucky players won a cash prize equivalent of an HSV GTS supercar or a Harley Davidson FLSTF Fatboy motorcycle.

 

August 2008 – Lotto’s 21^st Birthday

Lotto turned 21 last year and celebrated by giving away the largest number of prizes ever – over 2100 cash prizes worth more than $5.4 million. The extra birthday prizes included three top prizes of $1,000,000, two of $500,000, twenty-one of $20,000 and 2100 of $500.

 

May 2008 – Mother’s Day

To celebrate Mother’s Day, Lotto gave away ten luxury, high-performance Mercedes Benz CLK280 Avant-garde coupes.

 

March 2008 – 100 Giant Nest Eggs For Easter

A whopping $2 million in extra prizes was up for grabs in Lotto’s Easter promotion. 100 lucky Lotto players cracked one top prize of $500,000, three of $100,000, six of $50,000 and 90 of $10,000.

 

January 2008 – ‘Live Your Dream’ With $5,000 A Week For All Of 2008

Five lucky players had a thrilling start to the New Year thanks to Lotto when they won $5,000 a week for all of 2008.

 

How do I enter a promotion draw?

To qualify for entry into our Lotto promotions, a specific Lotto ticket must be purchased within the promotional period. The ticket type and promotion dates will depend on the type of promotion that is running and will be defined in the promotion’s terms and conditions. When the Lotto ticket is purchased, a special voucher will be produced with your Lotto ticket – you need to keep this voucher as your promotion entry.

 

Where can I find the terms and conditions?

The terms and conditions for each promotion will be available via a link on this webpage or from any of our 1000 plus Lotto outlets during the promotion period.

 

How are the promotion vouchers drawn?

The winning voucher numbers are drawn using our random number generator computer, which is fully automated and kept in a secure environment. The integrity of our random number generator has been audited and confirmed by a number of independent parties, including Audit New Zealand and the Department of Internal Affairs.

 

Where can I find the winning promotion results?

Official promotion results will be available after 9pm on the promotion’s draw date on our Promotion Results page.
