“As a hard working vet and dairy farmer, this $125,000 should help Louise and husband Greg take a well earned holiday in 2010,” Mr McLeay says.
The weekend in Wellington to spin the Winning Wheel has given Louise and Greg a much needed break from working on the farm.
Louise bought her winning Lotto ticket on a Tuesday accidently when she meant to buy a Big Wednesday ticket.
As part of the Winning Wheel prize package, Louise and Greg enjoyed a luxury stay at the Duxton Hotel in Wellington, a shopping trip with a stylist for an outfit to wear on the show, and lunch with Lotto presenter Russell Harrison.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was won by a player who bought their ticket from Countdown Kaiapoi in Kaiapoi. The serial number is 580-60280111-20XX.
“Anyone who bought a ticket at any of our winning retailers should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it as soon as possible,” Mr McLeay says.
