The local woman says she thought she’d made a mistake with the numbers when she’d taken it home to scratch, so went back to the store to check it.
“I thought I was being a silly ass, because I have scratched the wrong things in the past, but this time it was for real!
“When I heard the news, I was over the moon, but another customer kept asking if I was alright because I was feeling pretty light-headed – and probably looked it,” says the dizzy winner!
The winner told her partner immediately, but not before telling him to pull over.
“He was driving so I had to tell him to stop, and lucky I did because he got quite hysterical.
“We’ve been looking to replace our 20 year old mower, and the fridge which we inherited from my partner’s grandma many years ago, so now we can do both those without going in to debt.
“But the best thing is my grandchildren are going to have a wonderful Christmas.”
With all three top prizes won on this game now, Hit The Mark has been removed from sale.
