Loosely translated, the 19 year old had a ‘jump for joy’ after she scratched the ticket at home with a friend and realised she was a $75,000 winner.
“I hadn’t bought one of these tickets before so wasn’t sure how to play the crossword and it took me a while to get through all the letters,” says the winner.
“When I saw that I had won $75,000 I showed my friend and we both just started jumping up and down,” adds the winner.
“It sounds cheesy but I literally did a huge jump for joy,” says the winner.
The winner plans to pay off their student loan with the winnings and will invest the majority of the win. They will be treating themselves too!
The Hamilton winner is the first top prize winner of the four $75,000 prizes available.
